Any customer can request an electric water heater check-up to see if their water heater is operating at peak efficiency. You will receive a written report describing any problem discovered or measures you can take to improve efficiency.

Empire Electric no longer offers the Electric Thermal Storage Heaters to residential consumers. However, you can purchase these heaters through local vendors. These heaters take advantage of Empire's new residential Time of Use Rate. The home heating units are manufactured in North America and are the most advanced off-peak heating systems available.

Empire Electric passes on Energy Efficiency Credits or cash rebates to our consumers from Tri-State G & T. The rebate must be requested within 180 days of installation and is available for new or replacement electric water heaters, new electric motors and new or replacement controlled electric resistance heating units.
