As a rural Cooperative, Empire Electric exists to provide electric services to its members. Membership in the Cooperative is open to all persons able to use Empire Electric's services and willing to accept the responsibilities of membership.

There is no charge for membership in Empire Electric Association, Inc., but an applicant must sign a membership application to receive electric services and be eligible for member benefits.
